
Lindsey BellamyAugust 2012 Lindsey helps teachers in their classrooms by coming in and giving constructive feedback as to how they can better use space and time. She leaves notes of encouragement. Lindsey visits with the new teachers to check in on them and offer help. She has helped train new teachers on the administration of TPRI. Lindsey has shown empathy and support to Williams’ new teachers and she has made them feel part of our school community. | Jamie SammisAugust 2012 Jamie has been an integral part of our successful 6th grade SLA program this past month. When we presented to the Williams faculty the challenge of providing students with a well-planned, deliberate SLA program for our 6 thgraders, Jamie contributed creative ideas, leadership, and timely communication between colleagues. Our 120 6th graders new the expectations of their middle school teachers, and felt supported throughout the process. Jamie has also pushed our thinking as leaders to consider new and thoughtful ways to approach hiccups. |

Netanya EvenAugust 2012 Netanya has started this year working with her colleagues to enhance our rigor and instructional practice around literacy in both language A and B. She is a founding member of our literacy team and an advocate for our students. | 
Rachel Corcoran September 2012Rachel has worked incredibly hard over the past month, planning great lessons and staying up on top of grading. She does all of this with a great attitude. She is a collaborative and thoughtful innovator who plans units and lessons with deliberation. Rachel also tracks her students’ instructional data to help them understand the ‘big goal’ focus for the year. |

Daria Godfrey September 2012Daria Godfrey goes above and beyond in supporting our families in need. She has sought our community resources and brought them to our campus. No matter what concern or issue we bring to her, she always finds a way to help. If she is called to the campus she comes immediately. She is active in our parent education program. She is collaborative and a problem solver. | 
Christopher Salinas September 2012Christopher is an excellent AP teacher, team leader, and is always ready to help. His students look up to him and his colleagues look to him for answers! | 
Mark Sterk October 2012 Mark is always friendly, caring, and ready to jump in to help whenever needed. He work hard to meet the needs of our special education students. He goes above and beyond to help students and teachers. He is willing to do whatever it takes to help and he always has a positive attitude and smile. | 
Brian HartOctober 2012 Mr. Hart has worked very diligently with teachers and students to make sure each student achieves their goal in class. He is always finding diverse means and ways to engage his students by carrying outas an energetic, enthused and creative instructor. Foremost his true dedication also is enhanced by spending numerous hours tutoring students to make sure each of them face their challenges with ingenuity.

Alison RodmanNovember 2012 Alison has been a calm presence in the midst of challenge and change. She works so hard to support 6th grade students and the grade level team as co-lead. She is organized, creative and caring, and aligns her instructional planning so that all students, including our ELLs and special education students. Allison has also managed to balance teaching and grad school, while continuing to maintain high expectations for her students in the classroom.

Katelyn NewshamNovember 2012 As a brand new teacher she has made great improvements in her class and among her students. She sets a great example for organization and classroom management. She also often stays late tutoring students, both for her physics class and other math and science classes. Katelyn maintains a positive attitude even though she’s stressed. She always asks for help and for new strategies to be effective and has incorporated math and science performance on the ACT into her big goal, truly making instruction meaningful/relevant for students.

Hannah BarneyNovember 2012 Hannah was selected by her colleagues for the following reasons: Hannah is an amazing team lead! She is so supportive and is willing to go above and beyond! Hannah volunteers for a multitude of jobs on our team in addition to being the team leader and planning her wedding! She is consistently looking for how to more effectively teach her students and is not afraid to admit her weaknesses. Through her wisdom and sharing I have grown to be a more effective reflector and continually strive to want the best for my students. Thank you Hannah! |  Jaclyn MorrisonDecember 2012 Jaclyn has worked tirelessly to get our library up and running. She organized our the first Book Fair for the year. She has started taking classes teaching research and library skills. She has partnered with Ms. Reyes to lead a session of the Family Latino Literacy Project and preparing for the second session. She helps out with assessments and other projects Jaclyn fulfills all her duties and more with a positive, collaborative attitude.

Ben DickersonDecember 2012 Ben has been a supportive instructional and cultural presence at Williams MS this year. He successfully administered CFA/Finals testing in Middle School and is a source of support for both new and returning teachers at Williams. We are glad to have him as a leader!

Ivan SnodgrassJanuary 2013 As a first-year teacher, Ivan has been a model of dedication and hard work. He spends numerous hours planning and making his classroom focused on student success. He also volunteers his time after school to various Middle School activities, as he is truly student focused!

Kristina BreeceJanuary 2013 Kristina was chosen as Employee of the Month for her coordination of our Science Fair. She worked on this project for several months. She provided step by step guidance to the K-5th grade teachers and created timelines, checklists and a science fair guide for them to follow. Because of her hard work and attention to detail our primary science fair was a huge success and the quality of our projects was superior to past years.

Armando SanchezJanuary 2013 He has been tremendously helpful to my ELL students. He frequently researches our topics of study in advance and prepares some translated material.
