Physical Safety
Every campus is gated and all staff are trained on procedures to keep our scholars safe.
Health Safety
Every campus has an onsite R.N. and safety protocols that meet or exceed CDC guidelines.
Emotional Safety
Every campus has a licensed behavioral counselor onsite and programs that promote an inclusive and accepting environment.
Campus Security and Safety
We prioritize the safety and security of our campuses. Uplift has extensive plans in place to address safety issues within our control at each of our campuses including:
- Gated and fenced campuses, locking vestibules, and electronic access systems provide a multi-layer support to prevent unwanted intruders
- Security cameras located throughout the campus provide a full view of the school.
- Locked exterior and classroom doors are regularly checked throughout the day.
- Police officers on campus throughout the school day.
- Background checks on all visitors and volunteers.
- Comprehensive emergency plans, active shooter response training, along with regularly conducted safety drills
