Uplift Ascend Preparatory is part of Uplift Education, the largest charter school network in North Texas. Our beautiful campus is located in the Forest Hill area of southeast Fort Worth on 25 acres. Academics at Uplift Ascend
We start with strong academics that tie lessons to real world situations. Then we cater the lessons to your child’s unique needs. Your child will be learning exactly what they are prepared to learn while being challenged to grow.
Our high school is authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate® (IB®) Diploma Program to every student. What is IB®? The IB® program develops students who are:

- motivated to succeed.
- aware of and care about the world around them.
Students earning an IB® Diploma have an advantage:
- Guaranteed 24 hours of college credit in Texas public university.
- College graduation rate of 79% vs. 39% without an IB® diploma.

Today was a very special day at Uplift Ascend as we celebrated someone who has meant so much to our school family — Mr. Benny (Benigno Villalpando). 💚🦅 Since the very beginning of Uplift Ascend, Mr. Benny has faithfully cared for our campus, loved our scholars and staff, and served our community with kindness, humility, and a smile. As he prepares to retire this summer, we wanted to make sure he knows just how greatly loved and deeply missed he will be. Today, we had the honor of celebrating Mr. Benny with a special parade around the school alongside his family to show our appreciation for all he has meant to us over the years. Mr. Benny, thank you for your years of dedication, hard work, and love for our Ascend family. Your impact goes far beyond the halls you helped care for — you have helped care for people. Keep your scholar fueled this summer! ☀️🍎 The Texas Summer Meals program is here to keep your scholar fueled all summer break! Free, healthy meals will be provided to children and teens ages 18 and under, as well as enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21. Visit SummerFood.org or call 211 to find a location near you and the dates they will be serving meals.
