Supporting Well-being, Every Single Day
Setting the Bar for Well-Rounded Scholars
For years, Uplift Education has been raising the standard for what social-emotional support looks like inside a public school. While many schools treat counseling and character education as an afterthought, Uplift built a whole-child model from the ground up — one that pairs licensed, on-campus support staff with daily habits that help scholars name their emotions, build resilience, and feel safe enough to learn.
Consistency and Purpose to Show We Care
Well-being at Uplift starts with consistency. Every scholar takes part in integrated daily character development lessons — short, age-appropriate practices that build empathy, respect, responsibility, and positive relationships as naturally as reading or recess.
On-campus Staff Meet Day-to-Day and Deeper Needs
Every Uplift campus is staffed with social-behavioral counselors who are qualified, licensed mental health professionals and work directly with scholars and families. For day-to-day needs, they’re a familiar, trusted presence in the hallways and can provide professional counseling on-site — helping scholars work through conflict, anxiety, grief, or big life changes without ever having to leave their school community.
Guiding Growth Campus-wide
Alongside counselors, on-campus character specialists lead the charge on building a culture of respect and belonging school-wide. They support teachers in reinforcing character lessons throughout the day, coach scholars through conflict in the moment, and help make sure Uplift’s values show up everywhere — from the classroom to the cafeteria to the car line.

Positioning Scholars for the Best Learning
Nationally, roughly 1 in 6 children ages 6–17 experience symptoms of a mental health disorder each year. Scholars can’t do their best learning — or their best growing, playing, and leading — if they’re anxious, disconnected, or unseen. Uplift’s well-being model exists so every scholar, no matter their background, has an adult on campus who knows them, checks on them, and helps them develop into a confident, well-rounded person who is ready to positively change their world.
