Sibling Pick Up/Drop Off

If your secondary scholar is picking up a primary sibling, please remind your secondary scholars to follow procedures when entering the primary gates. • Only one secondary scholar with a sibling tag will be allowed to pick up the primary siblings. No congregation or group of friends are allowed to pick up the primary sibling. • Primary scholar must also be picked up on time by the secondary sibling and then leave the primary campus. Scholars should not stay and play on the playground and hang around after pickup of primary sibling. • Secondary siblings must always follow directions of all Grand staff (Primary/Middle School/High School staff). If your secondary scholar is not adhering to this, your sibling pick up privileges may be revoked at Director discretion and can include meeting with corresponding directors for your scholar. This will mean that your primary scholar will need to be picked up through carline.

Walk/Bike Policy

Morning: Primary scholars who are walkers can come in through the pedestrian gate on E. Church St. Afternoon: Primary scholars who are walkers must be picked up by an adult. They will be able to release by E. Church St. pedestrian gate. Morning: Secondary scholars who are walkers can come in through the pedestrian gate on E. Church St. Afternoon: Secondary scholars who walk will be released through the pedestrian gate by the carline exit at 3:35pm/2:45. Scholars must go home and not linger in the neighborhood. *Note, this is not for scholars to be dropped off to avoid carline. This is intended for anyone who truly walks to school from home. Your address will be verified.

Early Pick Up

You will not be able to pick up from the front desk 30 minutes prior to dismissal. This applies to Primary, Middle School and High School.

Carline Tags or Signs

All primary families must have assigned carline tag to pick up scholar through carline or walker gate if approved walkers. Must be visible on windshield or on hand.

Primary Carline General Instructions

Morning Carline:
POINT A: You will be allowed to enter the parking lot at 7:30am by coming from Small Hill to Center St. turning on E. Church St. and taking a right on NE 4th St. route. Once you enter the parking lot, please follow the arrows.
POINT C: You will be directed by a staff member.
POINT D: Drop-off zone.
POINT E: Begin exiting with a right on N.E. 3rd St.
POINT F: Must turn right only on Main St

Afternoon Carline: Primary Families will be allowed to enter carline until 3:00PM (M, T, TH, F) and 1:30pm on Wednesdays. There will be a single file row from POINT B for the first vehicles and then a double row for POINT C. At the time of dismissal, the row in Point B will be sent to the pickup area Point D and then 5 cars at a time will be sent to Point D from Point C double rows.

Middle School Carline General Instructions

Morning Carline:
POINT A: You will be allowed to enter the parking lot at
7:15am by coming from Small Hill Dr into NE 4th St. and
making a right into our gated parking lot.
Once you enter the parking lot, please follow the
arrows.
POINT B: You will be directed to turn by a staff member.
POINT C: Drop-off zone.
POINT D: Begin exiting to E. Church St. and turning to
your right.

Afternoon Carline:
If you have Middle School scholar you will be
allowed to enter carline at 3:40pm
(M,T,TH,F) and 2:35 pm on Wednesdays.
There will be single file row from POINT C to
POINT D. Anything before POINT C will be
the double rows of cars. At dismissal time a
staff member will be directing traffic, 5 cars
at a time.
POINT E: (NE 2nd St., North St., and NE 4th St.)
Do NOT drop-off/park/pickup scholars. Due
to complaints from neighbors, the city of
Grand Prairie has asked Grand not “use
these streets” as a pick-up area.
