About Our School
Established in 1997, Uplift North Hills is the oldest school in the Uplift network and is on the grounds of a former equestrian center. The school has consistently been named as one of the top schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Reports, and was the first school in the network to award an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Panther Pride runs deep, and the Uplift North Hills families come together for our annual fall festival and our international fair. 9th Grade Museum Week Adventures! Our 9th graders got to experience one of North Hills’ favorite traditions — Museum Week! This special day took our scholars beyond the classroom to explore, learn, and discover new perspectives. They visited the George Bush Presidential Library, toured SMU, and enjoyed lunch on campus — an inspiring blend of history, leadership, and college life. We’re so proud of our 9th grade Panthers for representing NHP with curiosity and enthusiasm all day long!
🎃🐾 Panther Treat Trail this week! 🐾🎃 Primary families — send $5 to your scholar’s homeroom teacher on Thursday, Oct 23, to get all-access to the Panther Treat Trail and enjoy a Casual Day on Monday, Oct 27. Don’t forget: No $5 = no Casual Day on Oct 27. All funds go toward beautifying our NHP campus grounds—thank you for supporting Panther Pride! 💙 Helpful tip: Please send the $5 in a sealed envelope labeled with your scholar’s first & last name and grade/teacher. *DO NOT SEND $5 UNTIL THURSDAY, OCTOBER 23rd*
🍂RETURN FROM FALL BREAK🍂 Uplift Scholars and Families, we hope you had a wonderful Fall Break! Classes resume on Tuesday, October 21. Remember, every day matters at Uplift, and we’re excited to see scholars back, ready to learn and grow in the second semester! 🎒📕
Our Annual Walk Down History Lane! One of the most loved NHP traditions! Our Primary scholars chose a historical figure from 1975 or earlier, researched their life, and then brought them to life in our annual parade throughout campus. From Harriet Tubman to Albert Einstein, our walkways were filled with history, creativity, and Panther Pride. Families, teachers, and our 6th–12th graders all came out to cheer them on — even our Primary teachers joined the fun by dressing up. It’s a bit of a long video, but it’s absolutely worth the watch. ENJOY!
