Dear Parents of our 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Scholars, As we prepare for the upcoming STAAR assessments, we are excited for our scholars to showcase all the hard work, growth, and learning they have accomplished this year! We would love your support in helping to motivate and encourage your scholar. Please take a few moments to write a short note with words of encouragement, love, and confidence. Your message can make a big difference in helping your child feel confident and ready to do their best. You might include messages such as: • “I am so proud of you!” • “You’ve worked hard—go show what you know!” • “Believe in yourself—you’ve got this!” Although scholars will take multiple tests during the STAAR testing window, they will receive their note on the first day of testing to help set a positive tone. Please drop off your note in the front office or send it (sealed) with your scholar by Wednesday, April 1st. If you need a card and envelope, they will be available near the front office during Parent-Teacher Conference day on March 27. After that date, they will continue to be available in the front office. Thank you for being such an important partner in your child’s success. Together, we will ensure our scholars walk into testing feeling confident, prepared, and supported. We believe in them—and we know you do too! With appreciation, Karen Aldridge
