Please join us for Welcome to Uplift Day, where you will complete your eligibility meeting for your child and also learn more about your school and how to prepare for the first day (August 6, 2025).

Frequently Asked Questions
It's your chance to visit, learn about your campus, and complete your Pre-K eligibility meeting—which takes 5–10 minutes with the required documentation. Your seat in Pre-K is not confirmed until you go through the eligibility process. We strongly encourage you to attend these meetings. If we do not confirm your child’s eligibility during these meetings, the offer is subject to be removed.

Please complete your registration in SchoolMint prior to attending your eligibility meeting. If you need help completing your registration, we can assist you at your eligibility meeting.
NOTE: All that is required to complete your registration is to upload:
- Child’s birth certificate
- Current vaccination records
- Social security card (if available)
- Parent’s or guardian's photo ID
- Proof of address
One or more of the following eligibility requirements must be met to qualify for Uplift Education Pre-Kindergarten. The documents can be uploaded when you complete registration or may be presented at your eligibility meeting. See the list of qualifications and documentation.
As long as parents have the required documentation with them as outlined in the list above or have already uploaded it when registration was completed, the meeting should only take 5-10 minutes.
The income limits vary from household to household based on number of people in the home, total household income, and other factors. However, if your child qualifies for SNAP, Medicaid, or TANF, then he/she will likely qualify for Uplift Pre-K.
Yes. We will be testing to see if your child qualifies for English as a Second Language (ESL) program.
We strongly encourage families to attend the eligibility meeting scheduled for them by Uplift Education, but we understand that conflicts do arise. If you are unable to attend your scheduled meeting, then please email prek@uplifteducation.org to schedule a meeting. Our spots for Pre-K fill quickly, so the sooner you can complete your eligibility meeting, the better chance you have of securing a spot for your child in Uplift Pre-Kindergarten.
Yes. Pre-K is unique. Because it is the first time attending a Texas school for so many of our young scholars, immunizations must be up to date and submitted before your child can attend class. Please bring a copy of your child's shot records to your eligibility meeting or drop them by your school's office before the first day of school.
First day of school for the 2025-26 school year will be Wednesday, August 6, 2025. All new students will be invited to Transition Camp on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Watch email for details.
No. We do not offer a paid option. Our free Pre-K program is a state-funded program, which only allows students who meet the eligibility requirements.
